Architecture is all about lines. I don't know if that's a professional thing to say, but I definitely feel that way. Especially when we're talking about a building like a New York skyscraper, the most obvious choice for a photo would be to find an interesting composition with lines, creating a cold, mathematical approach to an image. You did that here to the extreme and I can appreciate it. You made a very good story about what it feels like to live amongst such concrete giants in abstract terms. And I think it's good that this is an abstract piece of photography. It tells us nothing about the exact place and I don't think any architecture buff can tell you who designed the buildings. So for a record of architecture, this won't do. As an artwork though, it's excellent <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)" />
I wonder by the way, what this looks like in colour and how much editing went into this. Especially because it's digital, I can imagine the temptation of photoshopping everything out that would interfere with your lines...
