Not to bad of a macro shot. Personally I am not a big fan of them because most of the time they look the same in some way or another. You boarder a little on that edge IMO however with the monochromatic tone and the high contrast makes up for that. The focus is very appealing with both sharp and soft focuses going on at the same time. forget the term at the moment, it's late for me right now. Nice piece. -- Not getting constructive critiques? This is lovely, I can't really say what could be better. If you really want to give this a glossy finish, try adding a border/matte.

I would give you critique, but I'm just starting to get into photography myself, so I wouldn't be able to say anything helpful. -- I'm a lovely little cupcake, DON'T EAT ME! D= There is no critique that is not helpful, even from an inexperience eye.
